Balblair 2002 1st Release

This is the first release of the 2002 vintage having been bottled in 2012. This serves as an entry point for the brand and is intended to be fresh and lively. The whisky is aged in ex-bourbon barrels and is all natural color and not chill-filtered.
Single MaltDistilled in pot stills from 100% malted barley, produced at one distillery, aged in barrels; if Scotch or Irish, must be aged for at least three years.
"There is a nice fruit granola aroma happening with apricot, cherry, and coconut standing out in particular. The whisky is soft and plush on your palate to start and finishes with a dry and tangy ending. The fruit flavors found on the nose deepen to more of a dried fruit profile and barrel spices weave in the whisky quite nicely."
