Glengoyne is a distillery located 15 miles north of Glasgow. Peat is never used for the malt in their whiskies. This is a 17 year old whisky that is aged in a mix of barrels including some 1st fill ex-Oloroso sherry casks. This has recently been discontinued, but you can still find this bottling out in the wild.

Tasting Notes

"Toasted cereal, raisins, and honey aromas are found in the glass. The whisky is tangy and has a nutty & fruity profile with baked pears and orange peel standing out. Though the whisky is rich and chewy, it finishes on the dry side "
