Reviewed July 3, 2022 (edited August 27, 2022)The nose is incredible; full of dessert wine sweetness (grape-forward fruit, obviously) and almost a syrupy note with just a hint of oak. The palate follows a similar playbook with hardly any ethanol burn. The finish is lengthy and complex and seems to linger on the back palate with a nice warm hug. This is a winner from Balcones for sure. -

Reviewed August 11, 2021 (edited August 28, 2021)Rich and luscious. Very nice as an after dinner drink. Citrus notes on the nose, even though orange muscat is descriptive of the color of the grape and not the citrus fruit. The characteristic Balcones vanilla/brown-sugar aromas also hit the nose at once. Good complexity on the palette with the muscat as icing on the cake. Nice mouth-feel and a noticeable viscosity. Good long sweet finsh. Outstanding.
