Balcones True Blue 100 Proof

I have a hard time getting past that distinctive Balcones flavor. Do yourself a favor and add a drop or two, the whiskey will really open up after that. Finish is long but not too hot. Once water is added, quite a tasty pour.

This is so high proof its nearly tasteless at the start. It hits the nose then the tongue as you swallow and is spicy and then has notes of vanilla and spice

Fruity middle and smooth finish.

Strong, smooth, spicy

Too harsh, but water helps a little.
