Great value!!
Palate is juicy, fruity sweetness. Mixed with a slightly peppery, slightly bitter experience. I’m a peat head so I barely get the wisps of peat smoke. The 43 abv is a decent improvement over the other 40 abv offerings at this price point. This is definitely my daily drinker.
It’s no where near a Laphroaig or Ardbeg (I can’t speak for other Scotch categories as I LOVE peated Scotch).
Teacher’s Highland Cream, and Shackleton are decent alternatives, but the Bank Note has an extra 3% abv, a more creamy mouth feel, and at $40ish for a 1.75L in my area seals the deal.
