Bare Knuckle American Wheat Whiskey

Reviewed September 19, 2022Note...Wheat Whiskey (not bourbon). Not complex, almost boring. My bottle was aged 4 years, 90 proof. 60% wheat, 30% rye, 10% malted barely. Sweet. Caramel, vanilla, mild spices. Short finish. Thin mouth feel. If your beginning to enjoy a dram of whiskey or whisky or bourbon okay, give this a try. Get it on sale only. At this price there's many better spirits. Virginia.35.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed August 1, 2021Overall a decent pour. It has a dry mouthfeel. The nose is nice and the flavors are decent. Just too dry for my liking. I added a couple of drops of water which I felt improved it. I probably wouldn’t buy a bottle, unless it was a cheap buy. Definitely give it a try at a bar. -

Reviewed February 8, 2020Wheaty and pungent on the nose. Warm, subtle citrus flavor, sightly bitter. Aftertaste is similar. No fire in the throat. -
