Tasting Notes
"The red wine notes come through on the aroma with a tangy and berry profile. There's some oak and vanilla here along with some pencil shavings. The bourbon is soft and full on the palate with a pleasant sweetness. It's just a bit spicy on the tip of your tongue. The wine finish seems to tame some of the vanilla and oak notes, which are present, but not over the top. The finish isn't super long and the bourbon isn't complex, but it's a nice enough whiskey. "
