Basil Hayden Red Wine Cask Finish

Very vague wine scent. First taste: Minimal burn. Fairly smooth on the tongue with a faint indistinct sour after taste.

Smooth, earthy berry flavors

I enjoyed this more than the regular BH. Could definitely see and taste the difference the red wine finish had on the Whiskey, was dry with some dark fruit and Oak tannin notes. Overall a richer and more fulfilling pour than what you normally get with this brand.
