The brand's typical high rye mash bill is used as it's based, and is matured as usual until undergoing a six-week finishing process in toasted, lightly charred barrels.

The brand's typical high rye mash bill is used as it's based, and is matured as usual until undergoing a six-week finishing process in toasted, lightly charred barrels. These casks were pumped with smoke from hickory chips, providing the addition of the subtly smoky flavor.

Tasting Notes
"Salted caramel and honey roasted peanuts appear on the nose, along with maple syrup and a savory-sweet hickory smoke. The palate offers peanut shells, chocolate syrup, cloves, nutmeg, and cocoa powder. The finish brings on more of a phenolic smoke with fireplace and ash, along with vanilla Tootsie Rolls and astringent oak."
