Basil Hayden Toast

Disclaimer: This is for small batch, not toast. App wouldn't let me select otherwise. Nose: A dry red wine and fruits Mouth: Oak, virginia tobacco, sweet and crisp Finish: Short and chocolate Good for crisp cocktails or neat. I would introduce new drinkers to whiskey with this but maybe not bourbon directly.

Well named, can definitely taste the toasted wood and the nice caramel finish. Very smooth and enjoyable to drink.

Smells great. But not my fav.

Very mild on the nose. Definitely sweeter notes. But the taste is quick to fall off the pallet. I get a little oak but very little caramel flavoring just meh.
