Tastes

Very bold on the nose with tannic, oaky notes. Flavor opens up quite different. Extremely sweet with a candied fruit, maple chew to it. Very pleasant and easy sipper neat.

Not bad for the mature VA "Blanton's". Flavor profile is in line but the overall finish is much better and a fraction of the cost.

Nose is very mild. Baking spice with a hint of apples and tannins. Taste is very floral and mild. Subtle burn but very palatable. Finished a bit flat but overall solid pour.

It's interesting to say the least. The nose is my favorite part. Has a buttery, brown sugar flavor. Almost like a cinnamon toast bun but enough heat to linger.

Quite a flavor bomb of citrus, corn, caramel, brown sugar, oak spice but not overwhelming. Very smooth but a little harshness on the back end.

Very mild on the nose. Definitely sweeter notes. But the taste is quick to fall off the pallet. I get a little oak but very little caramel flavoring just meh.

Strong oak nose, a little burnt caramel or toffee. Initial harshness from the proof but it opens nicely into a heavy nutty, complex baking spice with a subtle light fruit finish.

Very light on the nose. Slight fruitiness and a little hint of toasted nut. Initial taste is apricot or almost cranberry with a developing oiliness, leathery and a slight baking spice flavor with hardly any burn at all. Easy drinker in my book.
