Bayou White Rum

Bayou Rum is the brainchild of Louisiana Spirits founders Tim and Trey Litel and Skip Cortese, who sought to bring back the lost art of local rum production. To make Bayou, they use a mixture of Louisiana sugarcane molasses and raw sugar from M.A. Patout and Son, Ltd. The white is a pot-still rum with triple-filtered spring water, bottled unaged.
Silver RumAKA Blanco, Light, White. Rum that is usually aged (but not always) and carbon-filtered to remove any color. No specific type or size barrel required. No set time required for aging for most countries with a few exceptions.
"Fresh pepper and butterscotch waft from the glass, with more buttery, butterscotchness hitting the palate upon first sip. Banana, pear and papaya coat the mouth with a hint of pine and vanilla. Finishes slightly hot as many white rums do, but with a sweet freshness to balance it out. "
