Review number 666. Hells bells.
Wife broke a tooth last week, so we headed over to Algodones, MX to the dentist. While she was being worked on I decided to explore a little. But, dang it was hot as you know what, 107+ degrees. I ducked into a liquor store and spied this bottle with the Union Jack label. Bartered down to $8.50 for the bottle.
I like this whiskey. It’s somewhat sweet, a bit creamy and malty, with honey and cereal grains, easy to drink with a mild finish. Not the best whiskey, not the worst either. Pretty decent for an inexpensive Scotch blend.
