Belle Meade Bourbon Sherry Cask Finish

18-09 1348 Pretty good. I like that it's in a sherry cask. I think that makes it more smooth. Pretty mellow. Very drinkable. No need to dilute.

Not a big fan of finished whiskey, but this might be an exception. Sherry notes really come through on the nose and play nicely with caramel, vanilla and tannins on the palate. Finish is medium long and ends dry, but in a good way. I want to drink this with grilled duck

I enjoyed this one, but it had some surprising spice in that I didn’t expect. Not something I buy for myself.
