Belle Meade Sour Mash Straight Bourbon

A weaker version of the 108.6 reserve... mah, nothing special. It's a good mixer.

Wonderful and really enjoyable for the price tag! Very balanced with a sweeter nose and the high rye mash bill provides a spicy finish.

Pretty good. Some sweetness, some spice. At $40 a bottle in Virginia, for me there are better bourbons. Bit I'll get this once in a while.

Very oakey, slight caramel at the beginning

There's sweetness here, but it's subtle. I get some roasted corn initially, then there's a big hit of smokey oak and peppery spice. It finishes off with a little leather, tea leaves, and a slightly bitter aftertaste. I'm not ready to declare this favorite after one taste, but this is a nice flavorful, sip.
