Nose: ethanol smoothed out with notes of orange, cinnamon, and butterscotch. I also get a light note of fresh cut grass. Palate: so sweet! Very creamy mouthful with notes of honey suckle, cantaloupe, butterscotch, and a sweet oak. Very tasty!
Not too many of these left on the shelves after the label appears long discontinued. Leathery, dutch cocoa, fruity coffee beans, muddled mint, grassy rye, creamy grits, oaky, nutmeg, coconut, toffee, vanilla meringues, bit of candied orange peel. Reminds me of Colonel Taylor. Though this particular palate does appear in the wild turkey lineup per my last review, particularly the coconut.
Neat. Nose is sweet and spicy. Rye spice, vanilla, caramel apple, hints of cherry candy, vanilla, dusty oak. Taste is balanced. sweet oak, vanilla, cherry, baking spices. Finish is pleasant with oak, fruit, and vanilla.
Overall, very enjoyable. Easy to drink, but with some complexity. Value is a C-, but there are worse choices that cost more
