Benriach 25 Year is a non-peated release from the Speyside distillery which produces both peated and non-peated single malt whiskies. The single malt aged in a variety of casks including refurbished American oak ex-bourbon hogsheads and French Burgundy barriques. Bottled at 46.8% ABV, it is available beginning April 2019.

Tasting Notes

"A single malt that opens with a rancio-like quality? Yes, indeed. There's a malty richness and surprisingly mild tannins from the long aging. It has a classic dried fruit flavor and fleshy mouthfeel spiked with white pepper and that passionfruit nip at the finish familiar to long-aged single malt sippers. Leaves a delicate and appetizing Amontillado note. "
