Bentwing Brandy is a release from Hangar 1 which is based in Alameda, California. The brandy itself is a blend of both French and California brandies, the latter of which is made from grape grown in Northern California. After blending, the brandy is finished in charred whiskey barrels. This is the first non-vodka offering from Hangar 1. The brandy's name is after the Bentwing Bird: gull wing aircrafts used during WWII.

    Brandy distilled from any type of fruit-based wine produced anywhere in the world. Not referring to any of the designated or protected areas such as Cognac, Armagnac, Calvados, etc.

Tasting Notes

"Light and inviting aromas of white flowers, currants and dates emerge. The taste is lightly sweet with a touch of vanilla and caramel. Best consumed on its own to enjoy the subtleties including its fruity and and refreshing medium body finish."
