Reviewed December 25, 2022Aroma - nice oak profile, honey, orange peel, nice vanilla. Taste - oak forward, some black pepper, nice caramel. Very nice balance of flavors. Medium finish. For a 10 year at this price point… tough to beat. Quite tasty -

Reviewed October 23, 2022 (edited May 5, 2023)This is my second taste. I opened the bottle 10 months ago, a Christmas present, and remember it having a very unique flavor, dissimilar to most typical bourbon profiles. But this time around I was completely underwhelmed and found it rather unexceptional. That being said, it was still a good sip, just nothing to write home about. Edit: 3rd taste. Flip-flop exhibit here… definitely a unique flavor. Damp morning campfire is the image the flavor is evoking. Still not feeling great about this one, though. -

Reviewed August 19, 2022N: (after venting a couple mins) white oak (the most raw oak aroma i think I’ve tried), touch of vanilla, later got some sweet creme brulee. Later picked up hints of pepper. T: oak, ethanol. spice builds - mixed with the wood almost comes off as cedar. Note: really more of a scotch guy. Ymmv. -
