Bib & Tucker Double Char Bourbon

A bold Bourbon form Tennessee 1st aged for 6 years new white American oak, followed by a minimum of 5 months in a 2nd heavily charred & smoked new barrel before being bottled at 88 proof. It has an aromatic birth of grain, wood & spice; while a complex life adds notes of sweet corn, dulce de leche, cinnamon, clove, sugar maple; that led to a woody death of medium length with notes of oak & a hint of smoke. Nose: cedar, marshmallow. Palette: syrup, slight char, graham cracker, vanilla in the finish. Dryness kicks in later.
