Bib & Tucker 6 Year Small Batch Bourbon

I received this as a gift, and was quite pleasantly surprised by how good it was. While I’m thrilled to have it, I was surprised again when I leaned the price point - to me it seems a little high for what it is. Absolutely worth trying though.

Smooth, oily mouthfeel, slight orange, molasses, and tobacco.

Some brown sugar, but nose is muted. Sugar comes through on the palate. Molasses and vanilla very prominent.

A floral overtone with a shoe polish undertone. The palette changes direction and has a sweet pear undertone and a spicy overtone. Dry texture with modest tobacco finish. Good value for a six year age stated bourbon. I wish the source was transparently stated.
