  • Aged Rum
Rum that is aged, but no specific type or size barrel required. No set time required for length of aging, but will often carry an age statement (which should be taken with a grain of salt). Often thought of as "sipping rums".

Tasting Notes

"The nose offers up a slight woodiness from new oak, trumping any serious vanilla but teasing with whiffs of dill. The palate is prettier--still woody but balancing the oak with caramel and a touch of heat and smoke; contemplative sipping is rewarded with some spice, including black pepper. The finish is short but not as hot as the somewhat elevated proof might suggest.."
