Beyond that regional tie, local grains and botanical are used whenever possible to celebrate the state’s central farm belt — in this gin’s case a base spirit of 100 percent corn.

Tasting Notes
"This gin walks the line of traditional gin aromatics like juniper and citrus and a more progressive touch of spicy cinnamon. The body is fairly rich, and the corn base lends a degree of oily sweetness to the palate. Unfortunately, this does not do enough to combat the cinnamon’s spicy finish that is further betrayed by the relatively high alcohol level. A bit of an unruly gin that could benefit greatly by the addition of fruit juice or Italian fruit soda."
