"With a 100% corn mashbill, Big Spring's Silver Lion falls on the sweeter side of white whiskeys. The aroma is light with a hint of cereal; on the palate, the flavor is soft and straightforward with a taste of sweet corn and very little bite. It's less spicy than many other white whiskeys, and very clean. While it doesn't have the complexity that comes with barrel ageing, it's an approachable and reasonably priced spirit in the niche of unaged whiskeys."
