Black Coral Original Rum
Black Coral Rum // Florida, USA
Black Coral Rum is a father-and-son-owned, US Veteran supporting distillery based in Riviera Beach, Florida. For every bottle sold, $1 is donated to a non-profit that supports service members. At the base of their flagship rum is sweet cane molasses, grown in-state. After distillation, a portion of the spirit is poured in new, charred white oak barrels, and the rest is aged in what the distillery simply describes as "other barrels." Once blended, Black Coral Original Rum is bottled at 40% ABV.
Silver RumAKA Blanco, Light, White. Rum that is usually aged (but not always) and carbon-filtered to remove any color. No specific type or size barrel required. No set time required for aging for most countries with a few exceptions.

"The aroma delivers notes of vanilla and butterscotch with a light mineral undertone. Sipping the rum reveals up-front toffee and butterscotch notes, followed by a citrus-laden ethyl-alcohol pop. This is quickly overwhelmed by a sweet mineral rich finish. This interesting complexity makes the rum an interesting ingredient in any cocktail recipe calling for an immature rum."
