Reviewed September 21, 2020Nose: Alcohol (a little surprising for its ABV), acetone, and a light spiciness. Taste: Rather syrupy. I'm not pinpointing much character, which may be the result of the overpowering acetone aroma. Probably fine as a cheap mixer.15.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed September 11, 2020 (edited January 9, 2021)Black Velvet, 40% abv, aged 3 years. Not bottled in Canada, aroma is slightly alcoholic/odd or off putting Canadian sweet aroma, possibly rye. Taste is sweet/odd up front and odd aftertaste. Light bitterness and minor oak. Goes down nice and easy. It cost me 12 dollars for a 1 Liter glass bottle. It has that typical Canadian whisky sweetness to it, if you like that, you will like this, otherwise I would avoid it. There are better Canadians out there. Grade: C-12.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed August 25, 2020 (edited June 2, 2022)Can't break this one down all that much: the nose is cola and maple syrup -- although the maple syrup may come from my Canada association. It tastes like root beer barrel candy, spicy ribbon candy. Sweet and just a tad spicy. Black licorice rope. The finish is a syrupy finale. There is a reason that this is such a popular mixer with colas: it's appropriately sticky, sweet, spicy and filled with star anise and root beer.10.99 USD per Bottle5 & 20 Outlet Liquor Wine -

Reviewed August 24, 2020 (edited June 2, 2022)Nose - corn sweetness, ethanol, subtle butterscotch, high ethanol burn. Taste - cloying corn sweetness, vanilla, finishing thin and quick with fading bland corniness and nondescript sweetness. Pretty bad. Although not as offensive as Canadian Mist. For $9.99 a bottle, I think you get what you paid for. -
