Reviewed December 9, 2021 (edited July 31, 2022)Nose - Classic buttery blantons smell with a cherry bomb and a fantastic bite from the proof. Theres a lot vanilla custard. Small hints of very sweet ham. Palate - Oooooo that barrel char! Oh boy! The first sip starts with kitchen spice. It rolls into vanilla flavor and ends campfire smoke. Mouthfeel is medium, with the liquid coating the mouth with being overly oily. The feel is more like butter that melts quickly. Theres a little honey. Second sip after opening almost tastes savory, like a grilled steak or ribs. Still sweet, but weirdly tasty. Finish - Finish is pretty long, but not the longest i’ve had. Barrel spice and campfire smoke rolls long, making this a great seasonal bourbon. Very long and warm Kentucky hug. Rolls on like mocha espresso at the end. -

Reviewed November 26, 2021Strong oak nose, a little burnt caramel or toffee. Initial harshness from the proof but it opens nicely into a heavy nutty, complex baking spice with a subtle light fruit finish.150.0 USD per Bottle
