Blaum Bros. Straight Rye Whiskey

Typical rye base with smoky undertones. Very interesting, and may make a nice Manhattan.

This is a whiskey with a strong spicy kick at the end of the sip! It's not a hot spicy, but a warm comfortable spicy. I'm going to need to try a few more solid ryes before my final decision.

Vanilla creme brûlée first, followed by sweet smoke and oak with some menthol, with a smoky richness on a decently long finish. Mild heat for 100 proof, lots going on.

Big difference from scotch! Carmal notes are strong on the smell. Strong, rich taste.
