Blood Oath Bourbon Pact No. 9

Long, wonderful finish i thought was peach. Smooth with a couple of ice cubes to take the edge off for my taste. Wife tasted grapes.

Nose of apricot, plum, and creme brûlée. Walnut, apricot, oak, vanilla, almond, and baking spices on the palate followed by a lengthy finish of tobacco leaf and sweet hickory that lingers on the tongue.

Cracked the bottle to try with @Looneyhead in rockport. Tried neat. On the nares its sweet with notes of vanilla, clove, spice, cinnamon. On the palate its sweet and spicy with notes of pepper, vanilla, carsmel, cocoa. Yum

It had that sherry finish to it, was ok but not for $139

First sip was good. Then as I let it breathe and sipped more if it, I got too much sherry.
