First off, bourbon must be aged 4 years. This was aged 9 MONTHS. Its simply whiskey. There are probably a lot of purists that are upset at New Liberty for calling this bourbon.
Their tasting notes...milk chocolate, butter, leather, and stone fruit.
MY tasting notes.... Hay. It tastes like dried grass.
If this wasnt a gift, i would be pretty upset at myself for buying it. Its not bad, but i certainly wouldnt call it good.
