New Liberty Bloody Butcher Bourbon (9 Months)

Just taste like leather. Don’t get much else. Bit of heat. Nose even smells off. Won’t waste it, but will use it to mix, maybe.

First off, bourbon must be aged 4 years. This was aged 9 MONTHS. Its simply whiskey. There are probably a lot of purists that are upset at New Liberty for calling this bourbon. Their tasting notes...milk chocolate, butter, leather, and stone fruit. MY tasting notes.... Hay. It tastes like dried grass. If this wasnt a gift, i would be pretty upset at myself for buying it. Its not bad, but i certainly wouldnt call it good.

I got duped into buying this. Saw something new with a 9 on it and assumed for $50.00 it was a 9year...….it is (mos.) that is what I get for being in a rush. Taste harsh and I could not even finish my drink. Might try mixing with soda of some sort, if that don't work I will save it for friends I don't like. lol

A reliable drink. High proof but it comes in nice and sweet. Cinnamon and caramel notes

Strong bite, would need an acquired taste, sorry a one and done purchase, when it’s gone it’s gone...
