Blue Note Crossroads

sweet oak and nutmeg, slight spice in the finish. Not bad for the price. Middle of the road for the blue note family

I like the extra wood flavor. It’s a bit spicy and a touch acidic.

Tom: I like it. Not like I like a tall icy glass of cherry kool-aid right after riding my bike (the one with the banana seat) around the neighborhood for 12 straight hours on a 100 degree day. But I do like it.

On the nose leather, nutmeg and a touch of sweet bread and oak. The palate is similar with wood, young apples, fall spices, and pie dough. Very sweet as well. A hit of hot pepper follows. Some astringency on the finish but it fades quickly and gives way to the the pepper which persists for quite a while.
