Bondstone Double Oak Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey

Not much nose to it, slight molasses scent. Not very complex, has hint of baking spice, colves and oak. Not exceptional, but very average. Bondstone usually has some decent character, but bot on this one.

An elegant, Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey aged for a minimum of 4 years in new charred American white oak barrels & finished in a second. It has an aromatic birth with notes of rye, oak, herbs & spices; while a rich & full life adds notes of honey & vanilla; that led to a balanced death of medium length with notes of oak & cinnamon.
