Booker's Bourbon Batch 2021-01 "Donohoe's Batch"

The nose is ethanol and beautiful brown sugar and syrup. I get rich berries, coffee and dark chocolate on the palate, along with plenty of oak. Black tea, light smoke, snickerdoodle. The finish lingers for a good while. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this.

Nose: Sweet caramel notes, with peanuts. A slight hint of vanilla in the back. Tasting : candied apples come through first, with subtle herbal and tobacco notes. A very long pleasant peanut finish Final thoughts: Great bourbon. I may have built it up in my head a bit too much before getting around to trying it; nonetheless, still very good. That long satisfying finish really sets it apart from most.

What a pricey bourbon is supposed to taste like! Viscous with a long finish. Peanuts on the pallet but not too much. Caramel and vanilla. Awesome.
