The nose of the bourbon has a delightful complexity. There are hints of vanilla, oak, and leather on the forefront, with a hint of smoke in the finish.
On the palate, the bourbon builds on a foundation of vanilla and sweet orchard fruits. The high proof then comes to the fore with a bit of fire that settles into a lovely glow on the tongue and in the chest. The finish contains the smoke promised in the nose, as well as a hint of cherry. Late in the aftertaste, there is just a whisper of astringency from the high proof.
The bourbon should be enjoyed slowly and neat. Do not mix or dilute.
