Tasting Notes
"The aroma has a moderate intensity of vanilla, oak, and buttered toasted bread. Further nosings brings forth baked chocolate chip cookies. Although you might be inclined to add water to the dram, try it neat first. While you'll feel the alcohol burn a bit, sipping at full proof isn't a chore. There's enough richness and brown butter vanilla sweetness that helps the "medicine" go down. The bittersweet finish has a good length to it and shows some apple and pear notes and the oak and barrel spices provide a nice structure. Overall, a solid bourbon at a good value. "
