Tasting Notes
"The tandem of vanilla and oak dominate on the nose, with light pear and apples behind. The palate is spicy with pepper, oak, and cloves. A dry, moderate length finish offers the same. It's bigger and fuller than its small-barrel aged cousin, but somewhat one note. An ice cube or splash of water saves it though, revealing a far sweeter, rounder profile that had been lacking."
