Tasting Notes
"Though this is a rather earthy style of cognac, likely owing to the finishing process, bright, seductive flavors of malted chocolate, apricot and fresh fig punch through that surface. A hint of black tea adds to the earthiness, but the flavor combination never gets too bitter, rather more hot and spicy toward the finish. This cognac tastes much more youthful than 22 years, which might disappoint the "age matters" crowd, but delight those who prefer to explore unusual releases. "
