Nose: The nose though not dramatic is still very welcoming. Candy corn and vanilla are dominant with some wood and caramel notes adding a subtle contribution.
Taste: On the palate we find, like the nose, nothing complicated. There is sweet maple syrup, corn, and a honey-like aftertaste. The finish leaves you with some oak notes but is clean, fresh, and crisp! It's quick though, so don't miss it.
Opinion: It's not a bourbon with a lot of action, but if you are looking for a decent refreshing dram just to sip on among friends, this is it! I really like it: it's local, it's delicious, decent for the price, and proves that there's more to Breckenridge than just skiing! It's not top shelf, but I will probably buy it again. Sláinte!
