Reviewed December 11, 2023The port takes center stage both on the nose and tongue, flavor is quite strong. Bitter estringent tannins, a touch of wine sweetness. Usually I love port cask whiskies but the balance here is way off, it's all wine and no whiskey. The result is bitter and overpoweing. -

Reviewed December 10, 2023It's jammy and full of raisins and port on the nose. Rye and spice are on the front of the palate. They lead into maple syrup and butterscotch. The finish is sweet and spicy but ends dry. -
