Breckenridge Port Cask Finish

Nothing wrong with it but also nothing amazing

Nose: sweet, raisins, Body: spicy, cloves, dry, caramel Finish: heat, long finish, butter

It's jammy and full of raisins and port on the nose. Rye and spice are on the front of the palate. They lead into maple syrup and butterscotch. The finish is sweet and spicy but ends dry.

Clear copper amber body thick legging. Caramel, raisin, spicy rye port aroma. Raisin, spicy rye, port, toffee flavor. Medium body moderate warming. 8/4/8/4/17 4.1

Oh my is this one interesting! A nice smooth bourbon with just a hint if heat that just goes away perfectly. Then it leaves a rather interesting dryness but not the roughness often associated with a dry bourbon. Late in the taste, long after you think you are done, a nice hint from the port barrels makes a subtle appearance. Nice pour for sure!
