Tastes

A slight hint of vanilla but this one packs a little punch. I added 3 drops of water which really tammed this one nicely and opened up the flavor a little more. Even then not a very distinct flavor comes to me.

A very smooth bourbon with a rich body and taste. Hints of caramel and maybe a touch of fruit. Nice build that just mellows as you savor the taste.

A bit on the harah side for me. A funky aftertaste is left after a complex set of flavors.

Interesting. Nice and smooth with a little briny taste and a hint of peanut. Nice one to sip on…

A nice bourbon. A little hot and not very eventful.

A very nice taste and just the right amount of heat. Fruity and flavorful. One i wouldn’t hesitate to keep on the bar.

A little dry to me but a pleasant flavor with a hint of toasty leather.

An interesting flavor comes thru the heat. A full and rich combination makes it a little hard for me to nail down a predominant flavor. One to savor and enjoy slowly.

Woo doggie!!! That 124 proof smacks ya right up front! Usually a turn off but the fullness and flavor is outstanding for a bourbon this strong. So often those aspects are lost with that kind of heat. Definitely a sipping pour and one to savor.

An interesting and complex pour. Started out a little hot but that gave way to a wonderful bouquet of flavors. Kind if fruity, rich, woody, dry and yet leaves your tastebuds extremely satisfied.
