Hands down, one of the best Scotches I’ve had. Not peaty, but a lovely, fruity, aroma on the outset. A nice mellow build that gently peaks but never gets to hot. A nice buttery and smooth pour.

An interesting pour. Absolutely neat, it was a bit hot and for me, recently, no real flavor profiles come forward at first. I have to admit, it may be due to some nose issues… i need to find an ENT doc that loves bourbon!🤣 Anyway, adding 3 drops of water opened it up nicely. A bit more floral notes come forward and the heat is tempered nicely. Certainly one to enjoy while reading your favorite book…

For 120 proof it has a little bite but smooths out very nicely. A full flavor with nice body.

A nice pour. I will say it is not as smooth as the Madeira finished nor as flavorful. I added 3 drops of water which really opened it up for me a bit. A little fruity. Maybe a little buttery on the backend. Other than that, no distinct flavors come forward for me.

Not sure I have ever had a pour hit me right up front like this one did with floral and fruity notes! A wonderful taste experience and a smooth bourbon. Nice and mellow on thr backside. This one will be on my Top Shelf list as well as Buy It If You See It list! Simply outstanding!

So I do not normally buy bourbon with a plastic screw off top… but oh my! This was on the allocation table at one of my local ABC stores and at $17 how could I not give it a go! LOL I have tried some others in this orice range and got what I expected but this is a great surprise! A fantastic range of flavor and not harsh as one might expect. I added 4 drops of water to this tasting and it became a very pleasant sipper. Maybe just a tad more heat on the tounge than i would prefer but certainly not objectionable. At the price, certainly one to keep around the bar.

So I’m the one that added this selection. The only reason i make that statement is when entering, i was required to enter an age for the bourbon. I could not find that on the bottle or on the distillery website. That said, I put 4 years. Right or wrong I have no idea but based on other specs felt it a safe guess. If wrong, my apologies. I wish this was shared right on the bottle. Anyway, for a proof this high it is a nice pour. I added 3 drops of water which opened it up a little to allow a richness to come forward while backing down the heat a little. A smooth flavor and while a little heat, no harsh as some of similar profiles can be. This was a nice surprise and one to enjoy on those cold winter evenings.

Wooh doggie! My bottle is 116.73 proof!… and every bit if that meets me right up front! At the nose a nice oak and floral hint comes to bear. That first sip as neat will let you know you are alive! I added about 5 drops of water to mellow it down a little which opened up the nose. Still very much in your face as far as on the tongue so I slipped in a little chocolate bite to see what impact that had… honestly, very little. Still a bit harsh. Will work this one as a sipping bourbon to see if it mellows out… I want to like it for some reason…

A very nice and rich pour. 3 drops of water really mellows it out and flavors out further. A little briney and full with some floral hints on the backside.
