The Penderyn Distillery opened in 2000 as a whisky distillery. While waiting for its whisky stock to mature, the distillery decided to produce other spirits with quicker turnover. One of these spirits was Brecon Gin, which now serves as the base for a range of flavored gins released in 2019, including their Brecon Rhubarb & Cranberry Gin.

"Sweet cranberry and a whiff of rhubarb make for a fresh and fruity spirit. There's some bitter grapefruit and red berries on the palate as well, while notes of juniper, coriander and lemon struggle to surface."
