Broken Barrel Cask Strength Bourbon

On the nose heavy vanilla notes with underlying oak and woody staves coming through. First sip has a quick flash of oak and black pepper then followed by leather finish and really nice linger and burn as it goes down. For a higher proof this one is good neat. Dark chocolate is pulled close to the top of the profile from the depths of this one with a cube of ice. Ice severely softens the pepper burn and turns this one into a dangerous one. Good for sipping any way you like it!

Much the same as the Small Batch, just turned up to 11. This works to its benefit. The flavors are melded more tightly into each other, and the cogeners have more leeway on the palate.

Dry and harsh with mellow aftertaste
