Bruichladdich Black Art 10.1 Edition 29 Year
Single Malt
Bruichladdich // Islay, Scotland
Released on November 1, 2022, the 10th edition of Black Art continues the tradition of the brand not revealing the specific details about the whisky's components, particularly the types of barrels used for maturation. Tasting Notes
"The nose is filled with apricots, orange peels, and flaky pastry. The taste brings those fruit notes once again, but there's a pleasant note of nutty barley notes and mild spice mixed in. Further tastes bring out some gentle oak, but once again the fruit notes (some dried and cooked jammy notes) come through here. Finish is moderate plus. This is more of an elegant sipper, not a powerhouse, but no less effective. Put on your favorite jazz album and sip the night away."
