Fruity nose. Soft palate with nougat, cherry, vanilla, and baking spices; oak present on finish.
Have read very conflicting reviews, as the sourcing of this may have changed at some point. This one has great balance and finesse, and is a huge step up from regular bulliet. Having said that I don’t think I’d wanna pay much more than $35, which is what I got it for on sale. The Four Roses SiB may have a slight leg up with complexity but not worth the extra $15 to me at least. I mention FR SiB as it’s generally believed that’s the sourcing for this whiskey. They do taste a bit similar as well.
