Brown sugar, caramel, faint cinnamon and mixed nuts on the nose. Taste is salty and sweet, like a salted whisky caramel, if that was actually a thing (and I wish it were). Oily, mildly spicy finish of medium length. I wasn't crazy about this at first, but it really grew on me. 88/100
This is dangerously smooth for an Islay whisky. Low on peat, not in-your-face as some of the other distilleries, but still has a lot going on. I'm a big fan.
