This release from independent bottler & blender Buzzard's Roost begins with a blend of 4 and 5 year-old double-barreled bourbon sourced from Indiana's MGP Distillery. Two different bourbon mash bills are represented here: 59% corn, 36% rye, 5% malted barley and 74% corn, 21% rye, 5% malted barley. The blended bourbon was then finished in a toasted American oak barrel before bottling at 105 proof.
Only 530 cases are available beginning July 2022. This bourbon is one of two bottlings released to celebrate the brand's 3rd anniversary. .

Tasting Notes
"Aromas of sharp clove, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, green apple and lemon burst from the glass. The palate is a mix of vegetal notes like green pepper along with strong woodshed elements and loads more of that spice. Slightly tannic notes of bitter tea come in toward the end. The midpalate is missing some necessary richness, but the spice carries into the finish. "
