At the time, the creator already started innovating, placing the drink in 10-liter glass gallons with the brand “O PAPAGAIO”. Around 1911, he innovated once again by building a new mill just for cachaça and increased sugar cane production by increasing the planting area. From then on, production passed from father to son! In 1996, his granddaughter, Anita Vitalia Pereira, decided to found, together with other producers, the Cooperative of Associated Producers of Cane and its Derivatives of the Abaíra Microregion, called COOPAMA.
