The first aged spirit from The 86 Co., the Reserva Añeja is a one-time release that builds on their three-year Carta Blanca Rum and is aged for seven years in used bourbon casks.

"Though it’s meant to be used as an alternative to rye whiskey in cocktails, the Reserva Añeja can still be enjoyed as a sipping rum. On the nose, there’s sugarcane, molasses and vanilla with notes of pineapple and allspice. The dry, mildly sweet palate offers chocolate, cinnamon and tropical fruit. The finish is long and dry, with bitter dark chocolate, molasses and a hint of oak."
