Canadian Club 1858

Notes of vanilla with a hint of pepper. Not as complex as I was hoping but not as harsh as I was expecting.

Starts very sweet like maple syrup then there's a quick kick of spicyness, the label says there's some vanilla and oak to it but I really didn't taste either of those. This was about 15 USD, and it's worth that. This is a really easy drinking whisky, and while it is enjoyable neat, it's probably best served on the rocks or as a mixer.
